Qualifying has begun for the Station Casinos big $200,000 no limit poker championship slated for May 24-25 at Red Rock Casino.
The first of the lead-in events takes place this Saturday and Sunday at Green Valley Ranch. Qualifying runs through Friday.
The entire four-event competition has a $1 million guaranteed purse with a minimum of $200,000 guaranteed at each of the four. The other poker tourneys being held prior to the championship round will be May 7-8 at Palace Station, May 14-15 at Sunset Station and May 21-22 at Red Rock.
The championship round offers 12 paying spots with first place winning 30 percent of the prize and an engraved gold Rolex.
The top 25 players from each tournament and top 20 points earners overall qualify for the championship round at Red Rock.
Station Casinos is also offering $85 single satellites and $260 super satellites at each venue OR an $1,100 direct buy-in to the main event.
